Is it Spring yet?

After seeing and hearing the robins in the park last week, I
figured spring could not be far behind. Who cares if there is
a little snow on the ground?
I am anxiously awaiting spring and thought that a painting
of a beautiful butterfly landing on a cone flower would give
us a taste of what is to come!

AFSCME 2009 Holiday Party

In December 2009 we had the privilege to take pictures of AFSCME members from the City of Milwaukee at their annual Holiday Party at the Italian Community Center.
Everyone attending had a great time! A wonderful way to end the year with friends.
This week we were able to deliver all of the prints to the City of Milwaukee for distribution to those who chose images to be printed.
Here is just a sample of the many images taken.

Santa Truck

As we were driving south on HWY 42 in Door County,
we spotted this truck along the roadway driven by
none other than Santa.
And he was hauling 2 snowmen, a Christmas tree and
presents in the bed of the truck!
Cute!

"Brisk" is what the weatherman said

On one of the coldest mornings of the winter season I rose early enough to get a predawn image of the Cana Island lighthouse. With a wind chill factor of -15 degrees, I call it cold.
